Synopsis

“These are your Orders appointing you ‘Coastwatcher Mission’ Commander.” CINCPAC Admiral Hansen said handing them to Admiral Porche his Chief Intelligence Officer.“ Admiral Steinberg will loan you an empty warehouse to assemble your Coastwatcher Team and the nuclear submarine ‘Manta Ray’ to transport you to the Marquesas Islands.”

“This is an intelligence-gathering mission! Avoid combat at all costs!”

“We do not want to trigger a Chinese nuclear strike on the United States.”

“The President wants to avoid another 1960 Cuba Missile Crisis!” Admiral Hansen said. “He wants to confront the Chinese Premier with positive proof of the secret Chinese Missile Base hidden from him for more than 30 years at a Summit Meeting in Hawaii.”

“Our President will demand the closure of the missile base, the removal of the 5 IRBM Missiles that are a direct nuclear threat to the United States, and their return to China.”

“A peaceful resolution to this Nuclear Crisis is in the interest of everyone!”

“The Defense Seismological Agency is sending us Dr. Leon Contete their top seismological scientist who will show your Coastwatcher team how his seismic detectors work, and how he wants them deployed to form a giant antenna array around the underground missile base.”

“Using our new state of the art Centurion computer and satellite Dr. Contete will create 3 D virtual reality images of the 5 IRBM missiles in their concrete silos; missile launch center, the electrical generators, water supply, air ventilation systems, the personnel in their quarters, and upload them to the President’s National Security Adviser at the White House.”

“Will we be able to see the Chinese soldiers inside the missile base?” Admiral Porche asked.

“Dr. Conetete says it works like an Echograpy Imaging program. We should be able to see the Chinese soldiers as ghostlike 3 D images working inside the missile base.” Admiral Hansen said handing him his Orders.

“I talked with Ensign Puckett and his Uncle Teiki today on Nuku Hiva via ham radio and our new Centurion Satellite.” Admiral Porche said.

“Teiki Pucket is a highly decorated US Army ‘Green Beret’ who served in the Vietnam War.”

“His tactical solution is to recruit a 12 man recon team of Polynesian warriors of US Army Green Berets, Marine Jungle Raiders, and Navy Seals from Hawaii, Tahiti, the Marquesas, and Samoa for our intelligence gathering ‘Coastwatcher Mission.”

“He wants his cousin Joshua Puckett, a highly decorated Navy Seal who led long-range recon missions during the Vietnam War, to be our Operations Officer.\
